Free Book Chapter on Christian Coaching

Gary R. Collins website and book on Christian coaching offers someone unfamiliar with the concept of coaching in general and Christian coaching in particular a good idea of what to expect from coaching and whether or not coaching might be appropriate for you.

From high-quality coaching one can expect: a listening ear, encouragement, support, gentle questioning and accountability to help you reach your personal, professional or spirtiual goals.

Coaching may be right for you if you: do not have any serious mental health issues, want a nudge in the right direction but are willing to do the hardest work yourself, feel stuck where you are right now.

Coaching is not for everyone but tens of thousands, especially executives in corporate roles have found it invaluable.

I would not have been able to make the very challenging transition from physician to freelance writer and Mom's Coach without the help of my physician coach, Ahna Lake. I was stuck and Ahna helped me to question myself and decide what really mattered and then she supported me as I took some baby steps towards my goals. Later, I had a creativity coach (Sarah Stockton) and we corresponded by e-mail only and she contributed to the development of my writing voice as a parenting humor writer.

For me, a great coach is essential and I can not imagine life without coaches.

In a word, coaching "rocks"!
